A day at the zoo

I took half day leave today and we bring the kids to the zoo. It is Breia's 1st visit to the Singapore Zoological Gardens. We lost count how many times Adelle has been there though. Here's a pic of our family with the orang utan family....haha

Adelle had her swimming lesson in Rio Vista and I brought Breia for a dip as well, together with Shyen and Berkeley.

Last day of School

Today is the last day of school, and there is a small party for the kids. Here's a pic taken with her favourite teacher Karen.
Come next year, my darling will be in K2. ...time flies.

Adelle is performing in her school concert today. Wayne, Mum and I went to support her.

She is so good! She sings and dances all her way. I am so proud of my little girl, who is no longer a baby that I always see her as.

Taiwan

Wayne is in Taipei on a business trip and I joined him 4 days later on 4 Nov. It will also be our 6th anniversary trip.

We stayed in a nice boutique hotel Fullerton 41 in Taipei. Wayne has to work so I hang around with Lifang, Andrew's wife. We went to Shilin Night Market, Xi Menting and Wu Fen Pu.

On the 4th day, we went to Jiu Fen, a quaint little old town on top of a hill, and it overlooks the town and the sea.


















Subsequently we travelled to Jin Shan as we booked a room in the hot spring resort. It is a peaceful nice resort. Check it out. http://www.ba-ian.com.tw/index.htm

The next day, we went to Dan Shui as recommended by our Taipei friends. Its a fishermen's wharf with some old streets. We stayed in this beauiful hotel room that overlooks the sea. http://www.searesort.com.tw/La_Flower.asp

And we had room service breakfast at the balcony. What a breathtaking view!

Oh ya, we also found a very nice, cosy cafe called VIEW near our hotel. Its a very lovely place, with jazz music playing in the background.

Asian Civilisation Museum

I have always wanted to bring Adelle to a museum. And today being Hari Raya holiday, we decided to check out the Asian Civilisation Museum. My mother in law came along and we had a good time checking out the different cultures and festivals in Singapore.

What the kids are up to on Sunday

Last Sunday, I gave Breia her 1st solid food, Heinz rice cereal. She seems to enjoy every bit of it.
When Breia is happily enjoying her food, guess what the big jie jie is up to! Surprising a good girl today, playing on her own with paper bags, how creative!

1st hair cut!

Ping brought Breia for her 1st hair cut at Aunty Winnie's.

Ouch, there goes my 'long hair'.
Ta..ta.......Oh no, I really look like a boy with this slightly longer than GI crew cut! faint.......Mummy, can i have long hair like Jie Jie next time?

The Happiest Place on Earth!

We are finally here at Hong Kong Disneyland. It is my dream to bring my kids to Disneyland. But we did not bring Breia as she is still too young to travel and enjoy. So we bring the big kid only.

Disneyland HK is the smallest among all Disneyland. But to Adelle, it is already very big! Here's some nice pictures we have taken to capture the beautiful moments in the happiest place on earth.

Adelle's 5th Birthday Party

Its Adelle's 5th birthday today. We are celebrating it at Samundar Restaurant in Sentosa. The birthday gal received so many presents and ang baos. Lucky gal also gets to go Disneyland in 2 days time with Mum and Dad. So exciting!
