A day at Changi Village Hotel

Kids enjoy staying in hotels as much as us adults.

They simply love the bath tub, the pool and the breakfast!

As well as munching on crackers in bed while watching TV!

Oh no Blood!!!

We were awaken by Breia's cries this morning. Apparently her dear sister has accidentally hit her when both were asleep. When she didn't stop crying after a few minutes, we decided to switch on the lights. To our surprise, we saw blood on her bolster, and also on her pacifier! We didn't expect the 'hit' can be so bad! Look at the poor girl with the stained bolster.

A lesson learnt: Do not let them sleep side by side.

Just Chill!

A simple dinner at home with the Lees and Yaps....its always fun to have simple gatherings like this when the kids can play together and the adults just chit chat and watch movie :)

It is also Berkley's 4 th Birthday so Pat got a simple cake and celebrate with her again.

June and Kerby's visit

My good pal June is in Singapore so we went to the Night Safari. It was a nice cooling evening ;) Adelle did not join us as she chooses to stay in Treva's house instead. Friends company is always the best.......Luckily we still have Breia who seems happy to join us....hehe

The value of $

Adelle was out shopping with Grandma one day and she was relating to me this incident.

Adelle: Ah ma, can you buy Baby Alive (a toy) for me?
Granny: Its so expensive, I got no money. You use your own money to buy la?
Adelle: But I don't have $69, I only have $2,000 in my bank.

Haha.....I couldn't help laughing after hearing this.

Christmas is in the air!

Urumqi 21-26 Nov

I was away for my company's annual workshop held in Urumqi this year.

Not much people our age has heard of this place ...(Only the older people who likes China may know :p)

Urumqi has a population of about 2.1 million, it is the capital of the Xinjiang Region in China. It is located in the northwest of the country. It is also farther away from sea than any other large city in the world. Two thousand years ago Ürümqi was an important town on the northern route of the Silk Road.

The weather in Urumqi can be very drastic, the hottest being over 40deg and lowest being -30deg. I really cannot imagine how the people there can take it. Poor souls...

During this trip we also have a chance to takle a night train from Urumqi to Dunhuang. It is a good experience, just that I cannot really sleep because of the sound and movement!

Graduation Day

Its another year, today is Adelle's Graduation Day. She is also going to perform on this special day.

She is looking forward to this day as she has been practising hard for her High Sch Musical song "We all in this together". She has been dancing and singing for the past 2 months!

So today we will finally get to watch her on stage.
