We are lucky to have 2 tickets to the preview of NDP from Denise who volunteers in Red Cross. We were seated in the Yellow sector which is in the middle. This is Adelle's 1st experience at the parade.
See she's all smiles when she sees the goodie bag of crackers and soft drink.
It was indeed priviledged to be the 1st to attend the NDP at Marina Bay. Here's some pictures to recapture the special moments.
Adelle is tired sitting there for more than 3 hours so we did not stay through for the fireworks. But we managed to catch a glimpse of it in Marina Square on our way back. Overall, it is a good experience for the little girl.

We saw the fireworks on that day too. But not at Marina area though. We were at my granny's place in Chinatown. Wonder when can I bring my kids to NDP. :)
I believe Keane must be excited to see it.
Not to worry, you will have to chance to catch it as there are quite alot of performancers from schools.
The next time you go, your whole family may be out there to look out for Keane who is performing for the NDP!
I am more like Adelle who's interested in the tibits in the goodies bag.. Hmmm Yummy, watch parade on site ... too hot for me...dun like crowds, dun like sun...can't stand some sticky hands of others too. Having said this, I bet if Angel wants to see the parade one day, both Kel and I will have to drag our feet...there.
